Learn how to receive calls on your mobile device when your PC doesn't have a microphone or you prefer better call quality

How It Works

Install & Login

Download DialApp on your phone and sign in with your email

Enable Transfer

Turn on "Transfer Call to App" toggle on your PC

Receive Calls

Calls automatically go to your selected device(s)

Setup Your Email (Required)

You need a verified email to login to the mobile app

Why Email is Required

Your email is used to securely login to the DialApp mobile application. This ensures only you can receive calls transferred to your devices.

How to Add Email:

Go to your Profile section in the dashboard

Add your email address in the email field

Check your inbox for verification email and click the verification link

Once verified, you can use this email to login to the mobile app

Multiple Devices Supported

You can install the app on multiple devices (phone, tablet, etc.) and choose which device(s) to receive calls on.

Login to the Mobile App

Sign in with your verified email to register your device

Open the DialApp on your mobile device

Enter your verified email address (the one you added to your profile)

Complete the login process (you'll receive an OTP code)

Once logged in, your device will be automatically registered

The device will appear in the available devices list on your PC dashboard

Important Note

You only need to login once per device. The device will remain registered and available for call transfers even after you close the app (as long as you stay logged in).

Enable Transfer Call to App

Configure your PC to send calls to your mobile device

On your PC, scroll down to find the "Transfer Call to App" section

Toggle the switch to ON (it will turn blue)

You'll see a list of your registered devices grouped by platform:

  • • Android Devices
  • • iPhone/iPad Devices
  • • Windows PCs (if app installed)
  • • Mac Computers (if app installed)

Select one or more devices to receive calls

Click on a device to select it. You can select multiple devices - the call will ring on all selected devices simultaneously.

Settings Saved Automatically

Your preferences are saved on your PC browser. You don't need to configure this every time.

For future calls: Just click on a patient's phone number and the call will automatically transfer to your pre-selected device(s). No need to configure again unless you want to change your settings.

Making Calls

How calls work once transfer is enabled

Automatic Call Transfer

When you click on a patient's phone number or dial a number, the call will automatically transfer to your selected device(s). You don't need to do anything else!

What Happens:

You click on a patient's phone number on your PC

Your PC sends the call to your selected mobile device(s)

Your phone rings with the call (even if the app is closed)

Answer on your phone and talk naturally

The patient sees your pharmacy phone number on their caller ID

(Not your personal mobile number - completely private!)

Privacy & Security

  • ✓ Your personal phone number stays private
  • ✓ Patients only see your pharmacy's professional number
  • ✓ All calls are encrypted and secure
  • ✓ Your mobile device is just used as the audio device

Changing Your Settings

Switch Devices

You can change which device receives calls at any time:

  1. Go to the "Transfer Call to App" section
  2. Click on a different device to select it
  3. Your new selection is saved automatically
  4. Future calls will go to the newly selected device(s)

Turn Off Transfer

To go back to making calls directly from your PC:

  1. Toggle the "Transfer Call to App" switch to OFF
  2. Calls will now use your PC's microphone again
  3. Your device selections are saved for when you turn it back on

Add More Devices

To add additional devices (tablet, another phone, etc.):

  1. Install DialApp on the new device
  2. Login with your same email address
  3. The device will automatically appear in your devices list
  4. Select it if you want calls to go there

Troubleshooting

Common Issues & Solutions:

🔶 "No devices available"

→ Make sure you've installed and logged into the mobile app at least once

🔶 "Email not verified"

→ Check your inbox and click the verification link, then try logging into the app again

🔶 "Can't enable transfer"

→ Verify you have an email added to your profile and it's verified

🔶 "Calls not ringing on my phone"

→ Make sure the app has notification permissions enabled and you're logged in

🔶 "Device disappeared from list"

→ Log into the app again on that device to re-register it
